  •         Several historical monuments and museums which is considered our tangible and spiritual treasure have been exposed for plundering or destruction occupied by Armenian invaders in the 90s of the last century. 762 cultural monuments and 1431 cultural institutions remain in the occupied territories.
The historical, cultural and religious monuments of the Khojali region, as well as cities and villages, were destroyed by Armenian vandals as a result of the occupation of the area.
Yaloba village History and Ethnography Museum of Khojaly region, which contains the ancient history of Khojaly and whole exhibits also destroyed as a result of Armenian vandalism.
The museum was established by the order of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 19, 1991, in Yolaba village of Khojaly region under the Kosalar village representative office. On the 9th of May, during the Armenian attack on the village of Kosalar, all the exhibits remained in the occupied zone.
Before the occupation of the village, the museum had 1,500 valuable exhibits of 800 items. Antique carpets, rugs and many other textiles reflecting the history of Karabakh, tangible household items made of pottery and ceramics, hand-painted oil paintings by Shusha artists, portraits of former cultural figures of Karabakh, and ancient agricultural items were kept in the museum.
At present, Yaloba village History and Ethnography Museum of Khojaly region operates in a settlement built for IDPs in the city of Ganja. Carpets, rugs and many other textiles belong to Karabakh carpet school, numerous exhibits reflecting the ancient history of Karabakh, at the same time exhibitions on patriotic themes were collected and included in the museum's fund.
Today, Khojaly people live with the desire to return to their homeland. We are confident that we will liberate our ancestral lands from occupation. Then like the Khojaly people, the exhibits in the museum will get back to the Khojaly.
